Cooled diode ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 (NORD-250)

Cooled diode ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 (NORD-250) are used for oil-free extraction of gases and gas mixtures (air) from vacuum systems and creation of high and ultrahigh vacuum. Cooled ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 are used as a part of vacuum processing equipment.

Cooled diode ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 are not intended for extraction of inert gases and continuous pumping of hydrogen (inert gases and hydrogen can be pumped only as impurities in chemically active gases with atomic weight higher than 14). Their capacity is reduced if they are used to pump hydrocarbons.

We recommended to use ion vacuum pumps NMD-0,25 or NMD-0,4 instead of cooled pumps NMDO-0,25. NMDO (NORD) pumps have several advantages over NMD pumps during their work at starting pressures and elevated pressures, but pump cooling is pointless at the pressure of 1*10-4 Pa. At the same time NMD pumps provide almost ten times smaller residual pressure, have a simpler design, smaller pump weight and dimensions. Besides, the price of NMD-0,25 pump is 45% of NMDO-0,25 prices, and the price of NMD-0,4 is 68%.

Cooled diode ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 (NORD-250)

The pumps are supplied in a moderately cold climate modification category 4 according to GOST 15150. Ion pumps are powered by special power supply units (further – BPM), not included in the delivery package of the pump.

Cooled diode ion vacuum pumps NMDO-0,25 are produced in two modifications of the connecting flange to the pump body: according to OST 11 868.007 (FO) and according to GOST 26526 (FG).

Example of identification code that can be used to order cooled vacuum pump NMDO-0,25:
- a pump with Dn-160 connecting flange to the pump body according to GOST 26526, without a power supply unit: "NMDO-0,25 pump, FG-160, without BPM";
- a pump with Dn-160 connecting flange to the pump body according to OST 11 868.007, with BPM-0,25ms power supply unit for the pump: "NMDO-0,25 pump, FO-160, with BPM-0,25ms power supply unit".

NOTE: Power supply units BPMms for cooled ion the pumps are supplied by a separate order, together with the pump or separately.
